Macro photography is also known as close-up photography. In recent years, the term macro has been used in marketing material to mean being able to focus on a subject close enough so that when a regular print is made, the image is life-size or larger.
Sometimes when pondering of something extra ordinary, I wonder how beautiful those dew drops are that peacefully resting on a leaves during the early morning, with the naked eyes it is not enough to totally visualize how they really look. That is where macro photography will come in.
But today, instead of showing you dew drops, we are going to get close to those wild and dangerous animals as we are going to feature animal eyes in macro executed by Suren Manvelyan – born in 1976, Suren started to photograph when he was sixteen and became a professional photographer in 2006. His photographic interests span from Macro to Portraits, Creative photo projects, Landscape, and much more. Suren’s photos have been published in numerous magazines and newspapers in Armenia and worldwide.
